The grocery store is clean and comfortable to shop in. They are well stocked. If they're out of sale items, you can ask for rain checks at the register. Prices are competitive with some pretty darn good deals in the weekly circular. Better yet, the digital coupons and rewards program add in extra savings. The majority of employees are helpful and welcoming. The bakery has the most beautiful decorated cakes, tastes yummy too. The grocery store is next to Target in a shopping center right off Highway 50 on Missouri Flat Road.
Save Mart is a great store with great people.... I saw some bad reviews from out of town Snowflakes on here.. many from SF.. are you kidding me? Don't like service in the foothills don't come here.. Clean, well stocked, friendly people and great prices.. what is not to like?
I really love to shop at this big Save Mart (there is a smaller one on Broadway). The reason being is because, my old roommate and I used to shop here nearly everyday, so it brings back memories! But, one time, one of the gentlemen that works here stopped me and showed me an ad for a huge energy drink sale starting the next day, and advised me to hold off and wait to purchase my drinks until then. He saved me money by stopping and informing me of the sale, which I thought was very nice and helpful! No way would a Safeway employee stop and take the time to do this. So, that being said, I like shopping here.
Cheap3r than safeway and they did a lot during the caldor fire for people so it was good to get some water and Gatorade. Appreciate it. Will go back.
5 stars! We are out of towners. Passing through on our way to the snow. I wanted to purchase a Lotto ticket since i was miles away from home. This was my 5yr olds 1st time going to the snow. They were so excited for him. They ladies in Save Mart made us feel welcome! I wish i would have gotten their names. They were the best! So sweet. They treated us like true guests!!
On our way to S Lake Tahoe for my sister-in-law's wedding we had to make a pit stop for an energy drink for my hunny and bathroom for me the kids & I. Save Mart was the closest off the exit. The store is very clean and organized along with the restroom. I forgot to pack a bar soap so I browsed their aisles and picked up some soap. They still carried L'Oreal kids shampoo that Target, Walmart & other stores stopped carrying and it was on clearance. Score!
